Help me in welcoming Ever After Homestead's Darkness to the barn. (Bob picked her name so now he can go around the barn saying "It is the Darkness" in a strange voice, his other choice was Betty...he would have never stopped singing that song 🤣) She is not your typical harlequin but when I saw her picture I fell in love. Also check out the little crescent moon on her neck 🌒😍 I took that as a sign from Moon 😉

Barn update Tsuki delivered 2 babies. Neither survived. Tess and Anna neither had any babies. I really thought Tess was pregnant. She built a nest shortly after breeding and then she had gained weight but we are a few days past their due dates and there are no signs. I may try again with Anna and Perry in October but not really sure ☹️

So I did a thing 😳. I'm off work June 4th through the 9th. I paired the following:
*Ever After's Perry- blue magpie and Bamboozled's Tsuki- chocolate magpie (Moon's sister)
*Wheeler's Professor Stripes Lilac magpie and Ever After's Anna black magpie
*Gray's Pancake and Bamboozled's Tess both black Japanese

Stripes is one of my original Bucks and an older gentleman, I don't think this pairing worked because he kept falling asleep on her.... But fingers crossed.

Perry finished 2/2 in both shows. He got really good comments on his color clarity and body type. Those are the things I was looking for in the show. Perry will be 6 months old in 10 days so I'll be seriously thinking of pairing him with Anna and Dawn for some April babies 🤞

It's been a minute... Not a lot has been going on at the Bamboozled barn. Sadly I lost Moon in October. Some might think she was just a rabbit but to me she was the Queen of the barn. I'm still not 100% sure where I'm going with the rabbitry but tonight I welcomed my future herd buck to the barn. (His Great Grandma was Moon's sister Sheena. I lost her to the dog attack a few years back.) A huge thank you to Ever After Homestead for this handsome little guy and the possibilities he brings to Bamboozled's. Now introducing Ever After Homesteads Don't Stop Believing barn name Perry.
