I have failed to highlight the newest addition to our homestead. We got some alpine goats to help with some maintenance around here. In the spring, we will be trying goat milk for the first time 😊 these guys have easily become a favorite for us!

We put two Kunekunes in the freezer and this is the result. This is going to feed our family for quite a while. I am beyond grateful to have the ability to do this. This is the reason we got into raising our own pigs, and knowing where our meat comes from. Not to mention, this is some of the best tasting pork we’ve ever had 😋

It's time to SCARE up some pumpkins for the pigs! Feel free to copy and share on your pages to let others know that our pigs LOVE pumpkins! Maybe your friends and neighbors have pumpkins that they will be getting rid of soon. Check with local stores or pumpkin patches to see if you can have their pumpkins that don't sell. Make sure any pumpkins you give the animals are free of mold and toxic paint!
