I debated posting this. However, I feel it is important to keep my page truthful as we make our journey into our new life.
My goats were raised in a wooden fence with a wooden barn/shed. Unfortunately, we do not have that currently, so we have to use electric fencing. Despite taking precautions and monitoring, at some point during the night/early morning Saturday, Esther aka Mother got out. She broke part of the fence. And we have not found her. I am beyond devastated. π’π’
I am hopeful someone in Dutch Corner Bedford County finds her and we can get her back. But as we are surrounded by farmland and woods...I have to be realistic. Esther is one of my first goats that I purchased when I was able to get back into farming (more hobby for me) and she always talks to me...she thinks I am one of her babies. Esther also likes to tell it like it is.
That being said, in the photo of all the goats, she is the far left goat. She has wattles and is a Lamancha which means tiny gopher ears. The others are her daughters and are having difficulty adjusting to not having their herd boss. PLEASE SHARE and keep us in your prayers!! π π I cannot give up yet as she is one of my kids.
