I saw a church board in Bedford that said, PUSH, pray until something happens...well it did! Esther aka Mother is home!! After 5 months and 5 days, she is back with us!! 😁😁 🥳🥳

A big thanks to our neighbors who found her in their barn shed!! She came right up to them and they walked her up to us. The best suprise!!

We have a long road ahead as she adjusts to being in a pen, getting back to healthy weight, and being with her daughters. Hadassah and Marta are not quite sure about having Mom home!! 😅😅

While hubby worked on the dog yard, I worked with these two to combat the spiders and killer fur bunnies. Took a few hours but its done! 😁😁

I took a trip to Clover Creek Cheese Cellar and experienced their cheese tour! It was great to learn about their practices, cheese making, and to sample their wares! We also got to make cheese, Ricotta or paneer cheese (I call it vinegar cheese). Pasture fed and raw milk is the way to go!

I'm looking forward to next year when I can get back into making goat cheese again. But first, I have to find Marta a boyfriend! 😅😅

After 4 long months, two nights ago, we saw Esther walking along the road! 🙏🙏 she came almost right up to our mailbox! I tried calling her in. She looked at us, peed as she has always done when I called to her, and took off into the woods. We set up a trail cam and so far no more sightings. Going to place it in a different spot tomorrow.

I'm thankful to know she is alive but also sad. This will not be easy. She is definitely the wild goat of Dutch Corner at this point!! Keep us in your prayers while we work on trying to bring her home with us and her daughters.

We moved the girls to their permanent fenced in pasture! 😁😁 This is half of what they will have, but its a step closer to getting everything done! On to building the dog yard and the barn. Woohoo! Thank you to Mr. Petit!! 🥰🥰

We saw a yong red fox come into the yard looking for chipmunks. Hadassah was displeased and snorted at it! 🤣🤣

The girls are sporting new collars and bells! Which of course, they like to lick 🤣🤣 I gave them a pine bough as a treat for being good girls and Hadassah was pretty sure the branch was going to attack! 😅😅

The fence is coming along! One more side and they can move in! If only the weather would stay cool enough...😐😐 🥵🥵

Did some experimenting with baking Sally Lunn buns...which were really good by the way! 😋😋 hmmm what to try next...

Nothing like spending the evening putting in a few fence posts! (Hubby had to double check the posts are straight 🤭🤭) Getting closer to being done! ☺️☺️ The girls are anxious to get out and enjoy the fresh grass. And the pineapple tomatoe plants are enjoying the weather! 😁😁

Let's shed some new light in our old house! Happy to have one of our chandeliers up! ☺️☺️

Attempted to make rhubarb upside down cake...well its more like rhubarb cobbler cuz someone didn't follow the recipe and added extra rhubarb. This girl 🙋‍♀️ 😅 it tastes delicious and is hard to stay out of. Rua had to supervise the tasting of it 😆😆

On to working on my plastic canvas project and cuddling with the boys 🥰🥰
