Facebook keeps reminding me that I have not posted anything recently, so just to let everyone know, we are still here. Still doing some reconstruction on the existing buildings and how have 3 different families/people living on the farm in addition to Teresa and myself.
We have a lot of visitors, primarily the young adults from our church, and they have named the the place the "Glory Farm". I wasn't too excited about the name at first but then when I thought about "glory" being defined as the "manifest presence of God", then I decided that this is what we always desired for the farm - a place where people could experience God. And it happens pretty routinely whether it is at wedding events, deliverances, pre-marriage counseling, sleep overs, etc. The farm has become a gathering place for small young adult events/conferences. We often have 30-80 people come to the farm for a weekend retreat and lives are changed. So keep praying for us and this next generation. I know that a lot of older people complain about the youth of the nation but I consider them to be awesome and they are the ones that we need to invest in to see things change in this country and the rest of the world.
