"On Friday Nov. 3rd, I will have the pleasure of playing with Drumplay, an amazing Jazz/Blues/Polyrhythmic improv band from Ohio. I met these guys last year at the Wills Mountain Festival, and they graciously invited me up on stage to perform with them. What transpired was magic, and this summer I had the pleasure again of sitting in with them at their hometown spot. Here the favor is returned, as I have invited them to our favorite place for brews, tunes, and good food: Boxer's Cafe. Expect a captivating show that will never be played again--every show is different and unplanned. Drumplay is celebrating 25 years of making music, so don't miss these masters of improvisation!

Drumplay consists of J. Scott Franklin (trumpet, flugelhorn, lead vocals), George Lee (acoustic bass, whistling, vocals), James Onysko (djembe, bongos, bells, conch shells), and John Stebal (drum kit). Drumplay music will be featured in a soon-to-be-released film starring Lindsay Lohan called The Shadow Within.

We feel this is the wisest course of action for our family,
farm and the growth and development of the festival.

We regret the problems this may create for your
