For a few days, the fields at Willow Springs Lavender felt like 1861 again.

Our farm sits on the historic grounds of Camp Mason & Dixon, where approximately 1,500 Union soldiers once camped during the Civil War.

We were honored to welcome the 1st PA Rifles, Company B back to this historic land for a weekend of living history.

The visit included:
β€’ Authentic camp life
β€’ Period-style photography
β€’ Civil War reenactments
β€’ Military drills
β€’ Percussion-cap rifle demonstrations using blanks

Seeing these fields filled with tents, uniforms, and the sounds of history was an unforgettable experience.
Thank you to the 1st PA Rifles, Company B for helping us preserve and share the story of the land we are proud to call home.
