I want to share a transparent update regarding our shipping schedule and the timeline for this season.
Earlier, we faced a severe heatwave that tragically resulted in the loss of some of our chickens. To manage and protect the remaining flocks, we had to temporarily place our olive eggers in with one of our Marans pens. Because genetic integrity is everything, I implemented a strict two-month waiting period to ensure all lines were completely cleared before any eggs or chicks were collected.
That two-month mark is just about here now, but the necessary pause has inevitably pushed our shipping timeline back. It is far from an ideal situation, but I am entirely committed to one non-negotiable standard: I will never compromise on quality, and I will never ship birds that run even the slightest risk of not being purebred.
As a dedicated poultry specialist, doing things the right way with rigorous oversight and strict adherence to breed standards is the only way I operate, exactly as I always have.
What this means for current orders:
I plan to still complete the few remaining orders however orders that cannot be completed to our exact standards this season will be held with priority shipping secured for the start of next season.
Alternatively, you always have the choice to receive a full refund if your birds can’t be delivered this year.
Thank you for your incredible patience, your understanding, and for supporting ethical, dedicated breeding.
