😃 Thank you for another season of berries!

Strawberry storage tips!
🍓 Strawberries have a short shelf life and need to be kept cold in order to be kept for a few days!
🍓 Do not wash until you are ready to eat or work with.
🍓 Remove any molded berries, mold will spread quickly.
🍓 Store in the fridge with a light covering of foil or your screen porch if temps are between 34 - 40

Best freezing methods:
1.) Wash, hull, and slice. Add sugar (up to 1/2 cup per pint), stir, and place in freezer bags. This method is great for strawberry pie, over ice cream and cereal, cobblers, etc
2.) Wash, hull, and spread on a cookie sheet. Place in freezer till frozen. Then place it in a large freezer bag. This method is great for smoothies because you can pull out just what you need and not the whole bag.

Ok yall!! We’ve been set up at Bobby’s BBQ since 9AM and had very little traffic so we are moving over to Academy in Aiken and gonna give it a try there and hopefully not get booted away.
We will be in a Silver Toyota 4Runner starting at 10:30AM TODAY!!

We still have berries left over and will be set up at Bobby’s BBQ, RIGHT NOW, Thursday, March 27th starting at 9AM until sold out. Please come get some amazing berries so we can close out this season. Thanks!
