As always I go to bed late and wake up early thinking what can I do better. This morning I’m thinking about the struggles of the local farmers and small businesses. We are blessed in this great community with a number if great small businesses. I sell frozen beef beef / pork and whole/ half shares of each because that’s the setup I have and inspection requires that. Another business is manns meat processing that sells individual packs of beef/ pork and whole/half’s as well as doing all your slaughtering needs as well. What a great job those guys do. Another great business is market over yonder which offers a little bit of everything that’s built on local products. He just started selling his never frozen beef products which I think is a great idea for him and the community. There are lots of other businesses as well. But please remember, the struggle is real for farmers and small businesses. We calculate every way we can stay competitive in pricing yet keep the doors open. The only way to do that is if local people will shop local. We all offer better products with hands on approach’s ,waiting to see a happy customer buy our product. I thank everyone who supports small businesses, especially the hard working farmers trying to survive.

While everyone seems concerned about whether it is grass fed or grain fed, I worry more about good fertilized pasture and the vitamin and protein minerals. Because if they’re not healthy neither is your beef you’re buying.

Well we’ve reached over 170,000 views which is unbelievable. We offer inspected fresh beef and pork from right here in southern wv. Our burger is packed from one individual animal, not well over 100 like most store bought that who knows where it was shipped from or how long ago. All we want is to give you our great tasting product that is loaded with protein ( just good healthy eating). So give us a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
