YIPPEE ICE IS HIRING

* SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT POSITION: BAGGER, ICE DELIVERER, and/or DRIVER

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have work experience with PHYSICAL LABOR.
2. Have work experience working in a FAST-PACED SETTING.
3. Be able to stock delivery trucks and warehouse freezers with 10-lb and 20-lb packaged ice.
4. Be able to load and unload packaged ice onto trucks and ice merchandisers by hand or by use of mechanical devices.
5. Be able to bag packaged ice and/or assist or drive to ice delivery locations.
6. Be drug and alcohol free.
7. SOME ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS that you will be expected to perform are stretching, bending, climbing, twisting, sitting, standing, lifting 50 pounds or greater, and other job-related functions.
8. Have a valid Texas Driver’s License (required if employed as a Delivery Driver).

NOTE: Work shift hours begin at 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM

POSITION: BAGGER/ICE DELIVERER

MAIN DUTIES: Bag Packaged Ice and/or Assist in Ice Delivery

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have a valid Texas Driver’s License (preferred)
2. Be able to work in a FAST-PACED SETTING and stock delivery trucks and warehouse with 10-lb and 20-lb packaged ice.
3. Be able to load and unload packaged ice onto trucks and ice merchandisers by hand or by use of mechanical devices.
4. Be able to lift and toss 10 # and 20 # bags of ice QUICKLY AND REPEATEDLY to restock ice merchandisers.
5. Some essential job functions that you will be expected to perform are stretching, bending, climbing, twisting, sitting, standing, lifting 50 pounds or greater, and other job-related functions.

NOTE: Work hours are currently starting at 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. No phone calls please.

HELP WANTED at Yippee Ice

POSITION: CDL DRIVER

MAIN DUTIES: Pickup water product.

REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A driver’s license required.
• 2+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving required.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
• Able to operate a forklift, electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries of ice and water products.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry products weighing approximately 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Must comply with State and Federal mandated requirements of controlled substances & alcohol testing

NOTE: This is an “Occasional As Needed” opening.
