Pretty dang good day yesterday!

I’m glad we got several different angles of this sheep, because I think they show exactly what makes him so unique.

From the side, you look at him and think he’s just a really pretty, well-balanced sheep. Then you get around him to that 3/4 view and he changes gears. That’s where you can really see just how three-dimensional he is and the amount of shape, width and dimension has to go with that look.

Congratulations to the Talton family for getting this one to the backdrop!

I have two little skinny ewe Lambs in need of some serious TLC with all this heat they’re really skinny.

They are both May born lambs out of donors.

If anyone was interested in getting them nursed back to health, you could show them for free until you are done with them and when you bring them back, I’ll pay you $250.

Two years ago this November, we bought “Daddy Issues” from Pagliaro-Bohan Club Lambs at Bluegrass Babes with a pretty specific plan in mind….cross her into our machine line and try to build a family of elite white ones.

In her first year here, she made a handful of sheep that we thought were extremely high quality. Now, we’re starting to see that plan come to fruition.

The first is “Elsa.”

We are so proud of this young lady! The moment Annie saw this ewe, she immediately asked me, “Can I show her?!” I knew when they left with her that they had a chance to hang a banner and they did exactly that on a pretty big stage!

The second piece of this family is a 3/4 brother to Elsa that we’re awfully excited about…
