How are we half way through May already?? Only a few more weeks until Summer and we've been focusing on transplanting, market prep, finishing up new garden spaces (๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…) and connecting with our kiddos... the season is already flying by so quickly!

Listen, there isn't room in this year's budget to be picky, but if there was... my first investment would be square nursery pots. We move around 50 dahlias in and out of the house. Every morning and every night, for 2 weeks. Then, we start all over again with the next round. That's a lot of shuffling around. Square pots could cut our number of trips in HALF while making room for 2 dozen more plants per rack... which would just increase our trips again ๐Ÿ˜‚ that's dahlia math for ya

We've been asked many times when we plan to join Belfair Saturday Market - Official โœจ๏ธ and our first weekend will be 6/6 in front of Belfair Elementary ๐ŸŒฟ

This will be our first market season. We will be offering:

Fresh cut flowers
Plant starts
Houseplants
Seeds
Fresh veggies
Fresh fruits
Crocheted beanies
Salt soaks
Sugar scrubs
DIY grow kits
Croc charms
Jewelry and accessories
Stickers
..and more!

But it still early for us.

Most of what youโ€™re seeing right now on our farm is in progress, half finished, or still being figured out.

The garden is being added piece by piece, the baby and her siblings are still adjusting to ever changing dynamics, and the market is something weโ€™re actively working toward but just not quite ready for yet.

We are so close, but we refuse to push ourselves too hard. Not in this season of life or any other. Time is too sacred.

We aren't sure where this adventure will ultimately lead, but we are having a blast figuring it out along the way and it feels right enough to keep going. So, weโ€™re sharing it as it happens, not once itโ€™s finished.

Orders to pack, laundry piling up, plant shelves full... but it can wait. Balancing homeschooling, my sisterhood, motherhood, partnership and business ownership (x2) can feel like an impossible task when my priorities are misaligned. But I waited years for this view and I am not rushing through it. Happy Mother's day to all the nurturers. To those doing, those balancing, those who are waiting, and those supporting from the sidelines. The world, and ourselves, need more mothering ๐ŸŒฟโœจ๏ธ

Michelle's Espresso is near and dear to our hearts. David and I met there over 12 years ago. The first time I saw him I knew I was going to marry him, and I did less than a year later. I worked there until we had our first baby in 2017, but there is no other place in Belfair that makes better coffee, so we haven't strayed. The girls keep us coming, too.

It feels like a full circle moment to see our family's goodies on display. Thank you, Tania for supporting us now and then. It means so much ๐Ÿฉทโœจ๏ธ
