We just finished the last of our winter squash. What good year 2024 was for squash. We grew watermelon cucumbers for the first time.

Our youngest daughter created a sourdough and shared a starter with us that put us on a baking journey now. Artisan breads aren't easy to find in Montana so we are trying it all. It also spurred us on to start baking desserts too.

Remodeled our pantry this winter, new flooring, trim and paint and more organized.

Hen house upgrade with the good weather finally. New roosting poles, a new laying box, 100 lb feeder and a 25 gallon watering tank. They laid eggs n the box the same day.

We are shutting down for the rest of this year, we had some serious setbacks with substrate contamination and need to address those before we can move forward. thanks for all the support from everyone while we work through everything and emerge in 2023 better than ever.

Blue oyster, pink oyster, gold oyster, chestnut, and shiitake. I ordered Hen o'the woods but it is getting hard to find so they sent me the shiitake. Time to get to growing!!
