I was a little sad to watch this corn crib come down tonight. Picking corn and unloading the corn was one of my favorite things to help Dad with. I would climb in the gravity box to knock cobs down and keep too much corn from sliding onto the elevator. I guess the bright side of this is the metal on the roof is good, and I have plans for it. Lots of the wood is in real good shape. I need wood to fix the big barn, so some of it will be used in there.

For 2 weeks I have been making hay. In the tractor is my Dad. The rest of us were the wrappers, uncloggers, and my daughter fed us. Today we finished around 10pm. We have endured 90 plus degree days, intense sun, 2 thunderstorms, and every machine we used breaking. I am so grateful to my beautiful family. (Dad, can we go fishing tomorrow). Happy 4th of July everyone
