I recently attended the Gathering of Good Grazers conference at UMass Amherst where I learned about a feeding technique named « bale bombing ». This way of feeding allows for the winter hay to be used not only as feed but also to seed the pasture for the following year. Im excited to see how this works!

The end of the year came with some misfortune for sunrise farm. The beloved Moolisa passed away unexpectedly Saturday. This was very difficult for me and for all those who were apart of her parenthood. The cause of her death is unknown but the odds were stacked against her from birth. Rest in peace Moolisa ❤️
