Chuck and I were just having a conversation about the number of chickens currently on the farm. Chuck’s guess is around 100. After counting, my estimate is 140 adults and 25 teenagers. We both agree that more pen space is needed. As we were preparing to go visit the cows and the greenhouse, Chuck called me outside where we saw this hen and her freshly hatched chick!
God has a very terrific sense of humor! We did not know this hen was hatching her eggs, we do not know where she hatched this egg, we do not know if there are more eggs that she will hatch.
I do like green eggs and also the chicks from which they hatch!
There are sooo many eggs and sooo many plants and we look forward to blessing others with the abundance God is showering in Carr Holler farm.
