Son of a Buck!

Here’s the thing about working with animals…. Sometimes they just don’t wanna. 🫣😅

You can put in the hours. Do all the grooming. Pack all the snacks. Get up at 3:30am to hit the road. Set up the extras and they still just don’t do what you need them to. And Boots wasn’t having it today. 🤣 Anthony was so excited to be in the ring for the first time he hopped his way right through his class.

If nothing else, there were lots of laughs thanks to our two guys.

Something about them bottle babies. 😘 Penny never lets her (human) momma out of her sight.

Thanks to Emily at H2F Boer Goats for giving my girls a great experience and letting them use some of your girls for their first ever ABGA show!

Piper came in 4th for Intermediate Showman and Holls came in 6th for Junior Showman.

They’ve never shown goats this BIG before and got the experience of handling and prepping for the what ABGA expects. So far they’ve come back with nothing but fun stories and smiles. Definitely not how we expected to spend the weekend before school, but we will take it!
