Well after 3 weeks of being closed to harvesting oysters. From Citrus County to Taylor county. Horseshoe Beach lease will open 1/6/24 at sunrise. We are expecting rain in the morning but it should clear up by noon and I will be going out to harvest oysters. I have 500 gathered up. They are petites, short but thick and have a nice chunk of meat in them and taste great. They are 100 oysters for $80 and I have some that are small and not going to grow any larger and they are on sale for $60 a 100 oysters. I do not and will not have any large oysters until late spring. Thank you for your support over the past year but the heat this summer and then the hurricane after that, this is all I have left.
