Cannon Farm The Cannon Farm started out as a early 1900's family farm on which was planted many crops and on where hogs were raised. Best pulled pork you've ever tasted!!!

This is a Historical Site where we have family/friend get-togethers every year and sometimes twice a year... NO connection to the Cannon Farms wedding venue... It is now owned by my uncle, Miles Prescott. Every year in April we have a hog roast at which we slap a nice 200 lb hog on the smoker and let him set all night and half a day. On the property we have a variety of fruit trees including: Pea

ch, Pear, Plum, Nectarine, Fig and Banana. There is also a large grape arbor and a small garden at certain times of the year. The 9 acres of land is in hay grass and we keep cattle rotating on it. Along with the house, there are two corn cribs. These are the barns in which the crops were stored. Crops such as: To***co, Corn, Peas, and Peanuts. There is a Rose Garden and you can drive by and see the lovely flowers lining the white picket fence.

HOG ROAST IS THE 21ST OF THIS MONTH YA'LL!!!!! COME AND JOIN US FOR FOOD, FUN, AND FAMILY!!!!! We've got the swingset/climbing rope/tire swing for the kids!!! Not to mention the field full of trees, perfect for climbing!!!

Due to an oversight, it appears I do not have the proper photos here!!! lol... I will be going out and taking some different shots of the farm itself and WILL be getting them edited in the next week... I will not be home this weekend and so this will be hard to manage before then.

Over 200 lbs of pulled smoked pork eatin'/taken home!!!! Those of you who didnt come, ya'll missed a GREAT time!!!! (not to mention some AWESOME food!!!!!)

Our yearly Hog Roast is this coming Saturday, March 29, 2014!!! Ya'll come join us. We got a 215 lb hog on the smoker/grill and of course, there's always covered dishes and lots of fellowship with family and friends!!!!
