A couple of our future heifers for our Milking Gyr and Milking Sardo herds. ❤️ These girls aren’t just pretty faces—they were bred with a purpose. Both carry strong milking lineage, with sires from Mexican-imported milking lines and dams that have the traits we want to continue: sweet, calm dispositions, excellent udders, and strong maternal qualities.
We aren’t breeding just to make more calves. Every mating is made with scrutiny and a long-term goal in mind: productive, functional cows that milk, breed back, raise calves, and have the temperament and structure to stay in the herd for years.
There’s a difference between simply producing a Sardo or Gyr calf and purpose-breeding an animal toward a specific standard. That’s what we’re working toward—generation after generation.
💕 Pretty is nice. Productive with purpose is better. 💕
