Meet the Hen: Pearl edition

Pearl was in a brooder with ISA brown chicks at a rural king & as a chick she wasn’t solid white so it took a while to realize she wasn’t like the others! Now she is solid white with a light coating of dirt. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂. She loves dirt & mud more than any of the others.

Her personality is really sweet & almost shy but she will answer to her name and will seek me(Sam) out for pets!

If you have any knowledge about chicken breeds & have any idea what breed she is- we’d love to know!

Meet the hens: Blanche edition

Blanche has been my favorite since we got her but she has also become Queen of the coop! She’s very curious & fearless.
When we let them out into their run for the first time she immediately jumped up onto a tree stump and tried to fly through the wildlife netting & chicken wire. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
She loves her treats of sunflower seeds & mealworms. We love her not only for her personality but also the little tuft on her head & the olive eggs she lays. 🥰

Welcome to our farm page! We are just starting out so we hope you will follow us on our journey. We currently have 27 lovely ladies 🐓 in our “hen den” and have lots of plans for fresh produce, more farm animals, and fresh baked breads & treats.
