🐓 Winter chicken reminder: No grass in winter = no pasture-raised chickens.

So if you want Driftwood Pastures chicken in your freezer through the winter, now's the time to stock up. Think about what you'll need for the next six months.

You can request extra of the cuts you use most, and if there are cuts you don't need, you can choose to have them donated to our local food pantry instead.

We may have some frozen inventory and make it to a few winter markets, but supply will be limited. The Winter Chicken Share is the best way to know you've got yours set aside.

Our penultimate summer farmers market weekend is here.

As we head toward the end of our first summer season, we just want to say thank you.

Thank you for making our chicken part of special meals, recommending us to friends, bringing new customers our way, and continuing to show up for our little farm week after week.

We’ll be bringing all of our current chicken inventory to the Bellaire and Harbor Springs markets this weekend and next, so it’s a good time to stock up.

After that, you’ll still have an opportunity to fill your freezer for winter with our Driftwood Pastures Winter Chicken Share. Reserve your winter supply on our website, or come talk to us at the market and we’ll be happy to tell you more.

Labor Day weekend is almost here. 🌿

We’ve got plenty of pasture-raised chicken headed to both markets this weekend—Bellaire Friday and Harbor Springs Saturday—so you’re in good shape for your weekend grilling and gatherings.

We’d still recommend coming early for breasts and thighs, our most popular cuts. Bellaire customers can also pre-order online by tonight and we’ll have your chicken set aside for you at the market.

Come stock up, fill your basket with the best of late-summer Northern Michigan, and enjoy the long weekend.

We’re a small farm, going viral isn’t the point.

We can’t feed thousands of people, so having thousands of followers doesn’t matter.

But we can feed our small community. This is the point.
