Every vegetable on your plate has a story that starts long before the grocery store.

It starts with a grower who was in the field before most people were awake, making decisions that determine whether that crop makes it to your table or not.

We build nutrition programs that help those growers put out their best work every season. Because what goes into the soil shows up on your plate.

To every grower feeding Florida and beyond, today's for you and your veggies. 🌱

217 pounds of produce grown by Eastside Elementary- Clewiston students, that's a big win for our future farmers!!

We were proud to support Eastside Elementary's school garden program this year. Watching kids get their hands dirty and learn where food actually comes from is exactly the kind of investment we believe in.

Thank you to the teachers and students for putting in the work this season.

To every school keeping agriculture alive in the classroom, keep planting. It matters more than you know. 🌱

What happens under the plastic matters just as much as what you see above it.

Our R&D team is running trials on controlled-release fertilizer programs for watermelons, and the details matter. CRF release rates shift depending on the time of year, so using the wrong material at the wrong time directly costs you efficiency and yield.

We're evaluating multiple CRF options against real field conditions to match the right materials to actual crop demands. Growers who have been part of this process are already seeing it show up in their yield and fruit quality.

We run the trials so you don't have to guess what works.

One of our favorite parts of this job is seeing the work in the field make it all the way to the community.

Our rep Jason recently teamed up with Scott Henderson of Henderson Farms to deliver fresh Florida watermelons to the hardworking staff at AdventHealth Wauchula. A little sweetness goes a long way when the summer heat is no joke. 🍉

The slower summer season doesn't mean we stop. It means we get to work on the things that keep us running all year long.

Our team is using this time to inspect, clean, and maintain our fleet so that when growers need us, we're ready to show up right.

That's the Wedgworth standard, on the road and in the field. 🚛

06/05/2026

While the rest of the state is hiding from the sun, growers are out there making decisions, managing crops, and doing the work regardless of what the forecast says.

That kind of commitment deserves more than a like. Tag a Florida farmer below and show them some love. 👇🌱

Florida's fertilizer blackout season is here, and the growers and turf pros who planned ahead are already in good shape.

June through September, most Florida counties restrict nitrogen and phosphorus applications to protect waterways from nutrient runoff. If you're in turf, landscaping, or managing your own lawn, now is the time to make sure your program is built around it.

The right products make all the difference. Sistema and SPT Fe 5% are both blackout-compliant and built to keep your turf holding color and health through the summer without putting you out of compliance.

Not sure what's allowed in your county or how to build around the restrictions?

Reach out to your Wedgworth advisor. That's exactly what we're here for. 🌱

Wedgworth Team Spotlight 👉 Grant Cloughley, Agronomic Sales Advisor

Almost 9 years in, and Grant’s still doing what matters most: showing up in the field and helping growers win. 🌱

From building nutrient programs that maximize yields to improving soil health, managing pests, and walking fields firsthand, Grant’s role goes far beyond recommendations.

It’s about trust, consistency, and helping customers succeed season after season.

His favorite part of working at Wedgworth? A team that’s all aligned on one thing: doing what’s best for the grower, every time.

In Grant’s words:
“Working here feels more like a dream than a job. The people, the challenges, and the opportunity to keep learning every day push me to be better out in the field.”

That’s the Wedgworth way, real support, real relationships, and a commitment to doing it right.

Say hey to Grant in the comments! 👋

Healthy turf starts where you can't see it.

In our Bermuda grass trials, the gap between untreated and treated root systems was hard to ignore. Untreated plots came up with a limited root structure and few fine root hairs.

Plots treated with Sistema and dethatching enzymes told a completely different story: deeper roots, a fresh root flush, and the kind of fine root development that translates directly to how a turf performs under pressure.

Root health is what carries a stand through heat, drought, and heavy use. This is what investing in the right program looks like below the surface.

If you want to know how to build this into your turf program this season, reach out to your Wedgworth advisor.

We're running the trials so you don't have to guess. 🌱
