Bridgepoint Run Farm has been actively farmed since the early 1700's. Today we provide farm fresh vegetables sold at our vegetable stand at the corner of Bridgepoint Road and Dead Tree Run in Belle Mead, NJ. We also provide high-quality hay available in small squares or large round bales. Be sure to check out our grass fed beef as well! Contact us for pricing and availability.

Postpartum pasture filling up. The big brown Swiss cow is soon to be our family milk cow, she will be due later this summer. For now she is on patrol making sure everyone is staying in line 😂

More remnants of the past. While digging water lines to help feed water to cows on more pastures on the farm we came across some old clay tile. This “U” shaped tile dates back to the late 1800’s-early 1900’s. More than likely would have been hand dug and laid into the shale. It sits about 50 feet downhill of a known shale ridge on one of our back pastures where water usually pushes to the surface during wet times of the year. Pretty neat.

Good morning, with the impending heat wave coming early next week we have decided to pull the stand up for now. Spinach quality greatly deteriorates in the temperatures we are going to see and if it’s not top quality we don’t want to put it out. Thanks for everyone who stopped by and grabbed a bag

Now Hiring: Farmstand & Farm Operations Assistant

We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on individual (ideal for an ag student!) to join us this summer.

This role is perfect for someone who wants real experience in:
• High tunnel vegetable production
• Direct-to-consumer farm sales
• Rotational grazing cattle & hay production
• Other day to day farm tasks

You’ll help run our farmstand, work in our high tunnels, and be part of daily farm operations. This may also include assisting us with rotational grazing duties or hay production & sales.

Ideal candidate:
• Studying agriculture or related field
• Hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors and with animals

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and be part of a regenerative farm.

Good morning, stand is stocked with fresh picked spinach this morning. Cooler nights ahead means quality of spinach will stay top notch. Cooler to below freezing (but not too cold) actually improves the quality of spinach, amplifying its overall “sweetness” as the plant goes into survival mode converting starches into sugars which acts as nature’s antifreeze. We will have spinach so long as temperatures stay reasonable and it doesn’t try and “bolt”(put out a seed head signaling the near end of its lifecycle) that would be brought on with much warmer weather.
