Farm Store Happenings 10.9 & 10.10
Happy Last U-Pick!
The 9th and 10th are our last CSA U-Pick farm store. We will have our Bulk Market on the 23rd and 24th as well as our gleaning event for members to stock up on produce for the winter. All of us have had such a wonderful time growing for you this season. 2026 will go down as a successful, abundant year with many good memories and lessons learned. We hope you all have a good winter and hope to see you back next season.
Unfortunately, we have experienced a crop failure with both our fall sugar snap peas and broccoli. It was pretty heartbreaking to discover this past week, especially because these are two of our favorite crops to grow. Both failures caught us completely off guard.
It’s situations like this that keep us humble and remind us that, no matter how much time, care, and experience we put into farming, there are still so many things beyond our control. Farming has a way of keeping us grounded, teaching us to appreciate the good seasons, and reminding us that every year brings something new to learn.
🌱 What to Expect in the farm store this week...
*We will take one last look at our 2nd broccoli crop on Friday morning to see if we can find some to bring in, again, no promises.

Watermelon radishes - These white radishes are milder than your regular red radishes. I know they are a favorite of many and they store well too.

Upcoming events:
October 9th &10th- Last CSA farm store
October 16th &17th- Farm store is closed
October 23rd and 24th- Back by popular demand, we’re excited to host another end-of-season gleaning day! All CSA members are welcome to walk the fields and harvest any remaining produce they’d like to take home—free of charge.
On these same days, we’ll also be holding one final bulk market, giving everyone the opportunity to stock up on bulk produce for winter storage. It’s a great chance to preserve the last of the season’s harvest, fill your pantry, and make the most of what’s still growing in the fields.
We hope you’ll join us for one last celebration of the season and take home a little extra of the farm with you!
