I brought my egg collection basket with to feed the donkeys, and Maisey was convinced there were snacks in there for her. We love how curious and intelligent donkeys are!

Does anyone know what kind of frog this is!? I saw it while we were picking black raspberries yesterday, and it's stunning! It almost sparkled in the sunlight sitting atop a raspberry leaf. Getting out in nature and being able to see beautiful things like this fills my heart! I like sharing things like this for those who are unable to or lack access to get out in nature.

We got a call from our vet yesterday morning. An elderly couple near us had come upon some feral kittens, and didn't have the means or energy to care for them. We already have 10 cats to care for, but we took the kittens to help the couple out. We are planning to rehome them once they become a little more friendly! Troy the llama at Sunset tonight. We began stewarding Troy and his alpaca brothers Prince and Mustacio, in the early spring of 2024. Troy is an aging llama, at around 20+ years old, so he doesn't have too much time left with us. He's beautiful, kind and gentle, majestic. When he came to be under our care, we knew this would be his retirement home. Troy, retirement suits you fine sir. Thank you for protecting your brothers, now you can feel protected and safe.
