This one cuts deep… As many of you know, my best friend passed away last week. She meant more to me than words can express.

When I made the cake for her funeral dinner, I knew I didn’t want something traditional. I wanted it to reflect the beautiful soul she was—free-spirited, colorful, full of life, and always finding beauty in the world around her.

Aside from her love for animals, she loved the outdoors, bright colors, and flowers, so I poured my heart into every detail. There were many tears shed while making this cake, but it was an honor to create something that celebrated who she was.

This is for you, my beautiful friend. Fly high. Until we meet again.
