Got our first batch of fish harvested. The kids love fried fish and they enjoyed helping clean them too. Most were 11-13 inches long. They are delicious 🤤

With the drought getting bad we had to bring the piggies in from the pasture and start giving hay about 6 weeks sooner than we usually do. The pasture just wasn't looking the best and I wanted to make sure my babies were getting enough healthy veggies 😊. Only a few were interested in getting pics taken today lol.

Got some 1 week old chicks available. BYM- Hens are Hy-Line and roos are RIR and an EE. These are gonna be adorable and amazing egg layers, big brown eggs. $3 each. (Minimum of 3). Bellefontaine 43311. Got another batch in the incubator and will be ready in 3 weeks.

Next week our last Berkshire is going to the butcher. From now on, we will be breeding only kunekunes. We got a new boar (Big Papa) who's in the back pasture with Beauty. But here are the newest gifts. We have Cookie, Ginger, Ebony and Cali. Gonna have lots of babies next spring and already excited 😊. Kunekunes are much easier on the land than standard meat hogs and their meat taste so much better 😋.
