Today I got to meet a new face to the midway. Gavin with his concession trailer selling mini doughnuts and waffle with Mountaintop Concessions welcome to the business. I know how it is starting out the first year so helping him out with exposure. He is set up today at the Nittany Antique Machinery Show with the rest of us Snyder's, Cogans, Packer's, Smokin Butts, Scott's Roasting, Sips and Giggles, Lauver's Miller's Hawianian Ice, Unicorn Concessions, Gordy's, Sunset Ice Cream. Now for the exciting news I have been waiting to share! Over the winter my trailer which was built in 1982 by HitchHiker got some much needed repairs to better serve the customers, but also to travel safely from one spot to another. Now for the big reveal! I want to give a very big shout out to Hugh Gross and his son Matthew Gross with H&C Custom Trailers and their crew that did the repairs for me

I normally don't say anything but I feel like this needs to be shared so customers and the public understand. When you go to a resturant, special events, or fairs you see soda fountains which we use to provide the product you ask for. Unfortunately the price they charge for us to receive a 5gal box of syrup is over 100+ and if u have several flavors ex. Pepsi, Diet, Mt Dew, Stary, DrP, Rootbeer, plus a co2 tank the price is for just that order can almost be a good $700 or $800 and that doesn't even include if you ordered extra so you dont run out. Another factor for is the cups, lids, straws, and the vendor buys ice or makes their own. Many factors contribute to the pricing as a vendor we have to recap to make the bill invoice which only has 30 days to be paid or if not put on the dreaded words COD cash on delivery. So if prices seem high for drinks please understand its not us just making up numbers there is a reason.
