The best holiday sweets are mamas butter tarts! 🇨🇦

Use store bought tart shells, pre-made pie dough, or make your own from scratch!

The filling is super easy. Makes 18 regular sized tarts or approximately 30 mini! Recipe below! ⬇️

Pie dough or a package of pre made tart shells
1 egg beaten
1/3 cup butter melted
1 cup brown sugar
2 tblsp. milk
1/3 cup raisins (or pecans)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients except tart shells into a bowl. Fill shells 3/4 full. Bake in a hot oven 450 degrees for 8 minutes (5 minutes for mini) then reduce heat to 350F and bake an additional 15 minutes (10 minutes for mini). Should be golden brown, bubbly and gooey!! Yum!
