We want to thank our entire community for coming out today - Day 1- and helping us with the cleanup. We are beyond overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who came out—near and far—once the call for help went out. Your willingness to give your time, energy, and care means more to us than we can put into words.

Each of you showed up with open hearts and helping hands, and together you made an incredibly difficult moment feel lighter.

Please know that we are forever grateful and deeply indebted to you all.

While there is still more cleanup ahead, today was a powerful reminder that the community truly shows up when it matters most. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💛

Thank you, Duvall Farmers Market, for your unfailing love and support. Even after we had to step away from the market, you continued to include and support us. We are truly grateful and will always appreciate the kindness you’ve shown our family.

Support a Long-Time Duvall Farmers Market Family

Many in our community know Cha New Life Garden, who were among the Duvall Farmers Market’s longest-participating vendors. Their last season with us was 2023, but they will always be a part of our market family. They have been growing produce in Duvall for more than two decades, contributing deeply to the local food system and community.

Recent flooding devastated their farm on the Snoqualmie River Rd, destroying personal belongings and farm inventory and forcing an unexpected and early retirement. They are now facing significant cleanup costs and the loss of their livelihood.

We are sharing their GoFundMe to help support immediate needs and are also hoping to help coordinate volunteer assistance as next steps become clear.

As many of you may already know, my parents and brother lost everything in the recent catastrophic flooding of the Snoqualmie River. While flooding is something our family has experienced before, nothing could have prepared us for what happened this time. The river crested far beyond normal levels, overwhelming their home and destroying all of their belongings.

In a matter of hours, they lost the essentials of daily life—furniture, appliances, clothing, tools, and irreplaceable personal items—leaving behind devastation, heartbreak, and an overwhelming cleanup ahead. Now, they are faced with the difficult reality of removing what remains, repairing what they can, and figuring out how to replace the necessities needed to simply start over.

We have created this GoFundMe to help support them during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help with cleanup costs, replacing essential items, and providing some relief as they begin the long road to recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.

Our sweet peas have just started to bloom this week and our lettuces are looking fuller every day. We will be here from 12 pm til 6:30pm. We can’t wait to see you all today!!!! ❤️

It’s going to be hot one today, but come by and see us at Issaquah farmers market for our sugars snap peas!!! Our 1st of the season!!!

We’ll be at Lake Forest Park Farmers Market - The Farmers tomorrow also with these, so don’t hesitate to come out early in the morning to beat the heat and the rush!!!
