Saturday, June 20 - Our 2026 strawberry season has come to an end. It has been a challenging one and we appreciate all your support as we did our best to provide a good picking experience for you in a less than normal season. We will start work immediately on renovation of the patch and caring for new plantings in anticipation of a better crop next year. Enjoy the rest of the summer and see you in 2027! Our last day for PYO berries in the patch will be Saturday, June 20 from 8 am to noon. The berries are smaller and require some effort to find, but if you need a few more fresh berries, this is your last opportunity. Call (563) 872-5652 if you need more information. Thanks!

We will be open for PYO berries on Friday, June 19 from 8 am - noon. While the berries are on the smaller side, there is still some fruit to be found if you don't mind a little effort and you want just a little more fresh fruit. Our plan is to be open for our LAST day of PYO berries on Saturday, June 20 (8 am to noon) pending supply and conditions after Friday. Be sure to check FB for updates or call (563) 872-5652. Thanks!

We will be open for PYO berries on Thursday, June 18 from 8 am - noon. While the berries are on the smaller side, there is still some fruit to be found if you don't mind a little effort. The season will be ending soon so if you still want a little fresh fruit, don't delay!!! We anticipate being open on Friday as well, and maybe Saturday, depending on demand the next couple of days. Our next day for PYO strawberries in the patch will be Tuesday, June 16 from 8 am to noon. Rain is in the forecast for Wednesday so be sure to watch for updates on days/hours for PYO. Containers are provided and the berries are $3.50 per pound. We accept cash, checks and cards (add 3% fee). While the berries are on the smaller side this year, with some effort, some nice fruit can still be found. The berry season in Iowa is short so don't delay too long if you still want some fresh berries. Call (563) 872-5652 if you need directions (don't trust GPS!) or need more information. In addition, we are no longer taking orders for pre-picked berries. We are doing our best to honor some orders on an extensive Will Call list. Thanks for your understanding.

As stated in earlier posts, the berries are on the smaller side this year, but there is fruit to be found with some effort. While we can't predict the end of the season, it will most likely be sometime next week. So don't delay if you still want some fresh berries. A few brave souls picked a few berries before today's storm, which curtailed picking in the patch! So, our next day for PYO in the patch will be on Friday, June 12 from 8 am to 1 pm.
