It’s been a few weeks since these have made an appearance, but I’m finally catching up on dough after taking my daughter to college and they’re finally back and will be available at the Mount Vernon Farmers Market on Saturday 9-2 and Christianson's Nursery & Greenhouse on Sunday 10-3.

Who had a chance to snag 1 or 4 of these up?!

I’m still tweaking and trying to make it “Chef’s kiss” perfect, but from what feedback I have gotten back I’m moving in the right direction. However, I would love to hear your thoughts if you did get one!

And yes, I am capable of putting that Vanilla Bean Marshmallow Buttercream into a piping bag and you can straight shot it into your dome if you would like 😊

Mondays are starting to be a partial day off for me and that means my body slows down, but my mind kicks into overdrive more before I go restock shopping.

So, while I’m sipping my tea and letting Presley blast me with her morning breath I work on the first stage of recipe development. I buy one random item and build a cookie around it.

What do y’all think I’ll be making with this?! Whomever guesses correct gets a free cookie!!

Little ol me? I wouldn’t call myself a bakery, but classification wise I guess that’s the category I fall into. I’m just happy people enjoy my cookies. It really does make me feel a certain kind of way to get compliments like this. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, because y’all are the reason I keep showing up. Well, aside for my kids lol

Did you know the Mount Vernon Farmers Market does a raffle drawing every Saturday? The raffle is seven tickets for $5, with a prize basket filled with items donated by market vendors and the winner drawn at 1 p.m.

I happened to win today’s basket and I’m especially excited about these freeze dried marshmallows from Misfit Menagerie: Homestead and Apiary that I’ve been eyeballing.

Edit to add:

The money from the raffle supports a great cause. Their scholarship program!
Kids looking into anything agricultural whether it be a farm or business or anything that has to do with agriculture can apply for these scholarships.
