June is just around the corner and that means that B Proud is back at Aslan!

This Hazy IPA has an aromatic punch of pineapple and grapefruit. Flavors of mango, sweet orange, grapefruit pith, and pine shine through a smooth body bolstered by a high percentage of wheat. A drying bitterness balances the fuller mouthfeel, creating a beautifully balanced IPA.

Aslan employees celebrated the brew day with participating on the brew deck, beer education on q***r brewing and bar cultures, and of course, delicious beer to sip on while doing it.

Proceeds from B Proud will go to and their Q***r Youth Services. QYS provides education, advocacy, and support for Q***r youth, their loved ones, and community providers. These services include the Trans Fashion Treasury, self-advocacy coaching, resource navigation, LGBTQ+ parent resources, Q***r-Affirming Care training, and more.

We are honored to have been asked to host the NW WA brew for the WA Brewers Guild’s annual Westies With Our Besties collaboration.

Together with 16 other breweries we created this bold yet drinkable West Coast IPA hopped with Cascade Cryo, Citra, Idaho 7, and Simcoe. This beer presents with bright aromas and flavors of grapefruit, pine resin, and passionfruit. Westies has a slight bitterness that pairs beautifully with smooth cracker and white bread notes from the pilsner malt. This beer feels like a perfect reflection of what making IPA in Northwest Washington is all about, bold yet balanced flavors all while maintaining drinkability!

We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we all enjoyed brewing it together!

In addition, at Aslan Seward Park today starting at 3PM we’ll be hosting a release party for this collab in honor of ! ✨ If you’re in the city, stop by, try all of the Guild collab beers with some pizza in hand! See you there!

This past week, our co-manager owner, Jack Lamb, and our favorite artist and friend took a trip across seas over to .brewing in Wakayama, Japan to celebrate our collaboration on, “Moon Calendar,” our West Coast IPA.

We are humbled by their warm welcome into their brewery and city. Thanks for .brewing for hosting us and working on this cross pacific collaboration. And of course, huge shoutout to by connecting our breweries with incredible art that always tells a captivating story.

Dawn Patrol just got upgraded. 😎

Dawn Patrol has been a staple at Aslan for the last eleven years. It has been instrumental in our growth, and we are grateful for what this beer has done to get us where we are. With that being said, it was time to taste, and reflect. In that reflection came a clear vision as to where we want to move with this beer. So, that’s exactly what we did!

When you have an artist who creates art for you but also creates art for a brewery in Japan, it only feels right to do a cross Pacific collaboration with said brewery. 🍻

Alongside Nomcraft Brewing (.brewing) in Wakayama, Japan (south of Osaka), our brewers created a West Coast IPA that reflects both breweries take on the style. Fruit forward and exceptionally drinkable, this IPA is hopped with Cascade, Idaho 7, Nelson Sauvin, and Simcoe. These hops provide pineapple, white peach, lime, and white grape flavors that balance with a smooth, pleasant bitterness.

Connected through art and the love of beer, we are humbled to release this beer while .brewing releases the same beer across seas. 💛

Huge shoutout to the artist who has connected us together, , and his work that brings energy, conversation, and connection throughout Aslan and beyond. We’re excited to release Moon Calendar, named off Connor’s artwork.

Margarita: Lunazul tequila, orange liqueur, agave, lime juice, lime. add rotating fruit syrup or strawberries

Bourbon Iced Tea: Fremont Mischief bourbon, iced tea, lemon juice, rotating flavor (currently white peach)

Italian Up Dog: What’s up dog? Outfitters gins, aperol, grapefruit juice, rosemary sugar rum, lemon

We’re thrilled to finally have brewed another collaboration with our friends over at 🌅

Every time we brew together we come up with something fun and tasty. Fermentada is no different. We made a Mexican-style lager with flavors inspired by tepache, which is a fermented beverage using pineapple rinds, brown sugar, and cinnamon. 🍍

This beer is packed with flavor. The Mexican lager comes through with a corny sweetness that pairs wonderfully with the pineapple and brown sugar. A smooth finish and a slight warming character from the cinnamon makes this beer comforting and refreshing, perfect for these sunny patio days that we’re about to have this weekend! ☀️
