It's time to announce our NAME THAT MUSHROOM winners! 🏆

We had some fantastic guesses this round, from Oyster and Black Pearl Oyster to Black Trumpets, along with some truly imaginative answers that kept us entertained!

This impressive member of the oyster mushroom family is known for its beautiful dark blue caps and thick, eye-catching clusters.

The King Blue Oyster is a cultivated cross developed through mushroom strain development (Scientifically speaking, this variety is born from PLASMOGAMY...a cellular- level fusion where two separate monokaryotic mycelium networks unite into one "super-strain"). 🐛 Some people see a nightmare. Others see something absolutely fascinating!

Okay, so it's not a mushroom. But stick with us...

We spotted this beautiful millipede earlier today and were happy to meet one of nature's unsung heroes!

Millipedes are part of nature's incredible recycling crew. They help break down decaying leaves and other organic material, playing an important role in keeping our ecosystems healthy.
And here's something pretty cool...

Millipedes and fungi actually help each other do their jobs!

Millipedes shred organic material into smaller pieces, while fungi help break it down chemically, making it easier for these little creatures to digest.

Different methods. Interconnected roles. One extraordinary natural recycling system.
