Belmont is serving up one of those perfect early summer days. Blue skies, warm sunshine, and just enough breeze to remind you that the weekend is almost here.

What pairs better with weather like this than a lineup of crisp whites, refreshing rosés, easy drinking reds, local craft beers, and cheeses that were practically made for summer evenings?

Join us Friday for a fun summer vibed tasting. We’re opening bottles from all over the wine world from 5-7P. Crisp bubbles, mineral driven Sauvignon Blanc, easy going rosé, juicy chillable Gamay, and silky Oregon Pinot Noir. Basically… your entire weekend mood in one tasting lineup.

Ryan will be at the barrel with a slew of sours for you to sample.

Dreaming of Campania tonight? Honestly, we don’t have to dream too hard with todays weather. All we have to think about is a simple dinner outside, and a chilled carafe of wine shared with friends, family or alone.

So let’s bring a little southern Italy to Belmont this weekend. Stop into The Spirited Gourmet and find everything you need for an easy Campanian inspired evening. Crisp whites, rosés, fresh Mozzarella di Bufala, charcuterie, and a few perfect bottles for the patio table.

Our Saturday Seminar Tasting, lead by John and Gabbie from 4–6pm, where we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the wines of Campania and the bright, coastal styles that pair beautifully with fresh buffalo mozzarella. Think volcanic soils, sea breezes, citrus, minerality, and wines that were practically made for summer evenings.

Our tastings are free, friendly, delicious, and open to the public.

(Last weeks recap, for those that missed it) From crisp Iberian wines and Oregon Pinot favorites to brews at the barrel, knockout cheeses, charcuterie platters, and plenty of conversations around the tasting tables, last week reminded us exactly why we love what we do.

We spent the week helping customers stock up for graduations, long weekends, and sunny evenings ahead. Along the way, we also welcomed a new neighbor to the community, Hawthorn Art Gallery.

Thanks for making our little corner of Cushing Square feel so lively, warm, and connected. We’re grateful for every bottle shared, every platter enjoyed, and every customer who walks through the door.

On this Memorial Day, while we remember those who have bravely served, we are also spending some time at The Spirited Gourmet working on improving your experiences with us, in the shop and online. For the next week, we ask for your patience while we change over our point of sale and our website. Thank you, thank you and cheers to another delicious week ahead. Open Tuesday, hours as usual.

This weekend’s charcuterie platters were lovingly assembled by The Spirited Gourmet’s very own Guinevere. A woman of many talents. Musician, music teacher, partner, and charcuterie extraordinaire. She somehow brings the same artistry and care to every board she creates. From the perfect folds of cured meats and sliced cheeses, to every thoughtful pairing. These platters were made to be shared, celebrated, and enjoyed. We’re lucky to have her creativity helping make life a little more delicious around here. Be sure to call us for your next gathering.
