How we got started...
I started my consulting business in 2015 right after I passed my Certified Sommelier exam. To me, this was the starting point of being able to take the knowledge that I’ve learned being in the wine industry for several years and share it with a wider audience.
My career in the industry started with wine making. Two business partners and I started San Sakana Cellars, a boutique winery catering to Rhone style tastes. Our product grew over the years to approx. 500 cases and featured wines from Sonoma, Mendocino, Santa Barbara, and Carneros. I loved this aspect of the business, but knew that I wanted to take that experience, coupled with my broader sales and marketing background to the next level.
Les Barrique brings this experience together by offering consulting across various areas of the business from winemaking and starting a business to launching and growing a wine club and hosting educational and fun wine tasting events.
