Belmont Sportsmens Club Members Pete and Steve attended the Lafayette County Sportsman’s Alliance Annual meeting March 25, 2026. A big thank you to the Benton club members who helped find a long time voice of the outdoor sports, Dan Small to remind us of what our clubs are doing for the future of our sport. If you live in Lafayette county Wisconsin and are not part of an outdoor sportsman’s club I encourage you to join a local club. The Clubs of Lafayette county support hunting, fishing but also support the youth trap teams in the county, provide activities for Earth day held at Woodford Park, keep portions of the Pecatonica River open for water travel, provide DNR safety courses for all ages, there are many more activities but join a club and find out the rest for yourself. When possible take a kid or adult who has never done anything in the outdoors to the river, the range, or the woods so they can understand why we need to protect our outdoor heritage.
