4:30 AM… Mitchell County fair! You’ll see me here every single day around 4 AM getting ribs on for the following afternoon. Trying to get you guys the freshest, best ribs possible and it takes a little extra effort to pull that off. I will personally be at the fair Wednesday 11–1 p.m.. and again 5 PM – 7 PM for dinner. Thursday through Saturday I will be hosting a huge Wrestling camp at the tech college, but will return with our wrestlers Friday. Bethany Swenson-Gilley will be taking over Thursday through Saturday at the food trailer, but I will be here every night at 4 AM to make sure there is an ample supply of fresh ribs! We’re only doing 16 racks for lunch tomorrow so get them while they last!

Cruiz'n Kids is always a highlight of Cruise the Blues! All riders get a free snowcone from The Ice Bros, and a chance to win a Retrospec Bike donated by Blue Hills Bikes. (We've lost count of how many bikes John has given away over the years, but it's a bunch!) All riders must wear a helmet. Please arrive early to register, catch some racing action and have lunch at Texas Red’s BBQ. We'll see ya on the farm!

Last year I cooked for 1500 people at the CVA grand opening of their new supply hub in Cortland. Was able to do all that by myself with a little planning. I decided to take on a bigger challenge, now I’m cooking for 4000 people over a three day state wrestling event in Topeka! Trying it again by myself. Normally this huge double smoker is used for turkey legs but each smoker holds 48 pork butts. Should be fun! Decided to make all of the sides fresh at the location instead of trying to transport everything.

Love the weather! Wrestling season is in full gear! Excited when a large wrestling tournament asks for me to provide food for their event! 40 pork butts later, 900-1000 people will get some awesome food! Thanks for the opportunity MAC Wrestling Club! The best is yet to come when I get to cook for over 4000 people in March at the State Wrestling Tournament! Good times!
