Bright Lights Show Cattle

SALE DAY means one last look!

Updated videos are HERE for the Popular Opinion and Metallika daughters selling TODAY on The Collective! Also available for viewing on the AMS sale site.

Two bulls that have made their mark in the show ring and are now proving their value where it matters most in the next generation. I've believed in these bulls from the beginning, and watching their daughters develop into the kind of females we're proud to offer has been pretty rewarding.

Take another look. Study the videos. Find your favorite. There's a lot to be excited about in this group!

It's SALE DAY for The Collective!

There's a whole lot of excitement today, but even more pride in the cattle and the people standing behind them. The early mornings, late nights, breeding decisions made years ago, and all the little moments in between that most people never see. Today, we get to watch another piece of that work come full circle.

One of my favorite things about The Collective isn't just the cattle. It's getting to work alongside people who share the same passion, push each other to be better, and genuinely celebrate each other's success. We all bring something different to the table, but we're proud of what we're building together. Today isn't just about selling 13 show heifers. It's about giving 13 new families the opportunity to chase goals, make memories, and hopefully find as much joy in these cattle as we have.

To everyone who has supported our programs, believed in what we're building, or taken the time to follow along, thank you. It means more than you know. Here's to good cattle, great people, and all the stories that haven't been written yet!

Today is finally here, ITS SALE DAY! 13 show heifers sell today on AMS online! Please reach out with any and all questions!

Your engines should be racing when you see these two. They aren't just good in their photos.... they also have running gears that are flawless.

The buddy cow and Finley worked hard on picture day. Now it’s time to go see the sale heifers in person! They keep getting better and bloomier every single day!

Anytime all day Saturday-Sunday-Monday babies will be ready to view! This set has enjoyed the nicer temperatures and have bloomed up incredibly! Updated cell phone videos are being uploaded to the sale site as I get them done!

I hope you notice a few things with The Collective.

The smiles.
The laughter.
The moments that have absolutely nothing to do with banners, placings or who wins the show.

I hope you notice the people working at the stalls. We don’t hire a huge fitting crew to come in and do the work for us. It’s us. It’s the juniors. It’s everyone working side by side washing, blowing, fitting, holding tails, grabbing supplies, juniors learning as they go and probably laughing about something we’ll still be talking about years from now.

Sure, we want to win. We are incredibly competitive people. We work hard to put good cattle in the ring, and we’re proud when that work pays off.

But I hope when you watch this, you notice that the best part isn’t hanging on the wall.

It’s right here.

Kids learning beside people who care about them. Friendships being built in the barn. A whole lot of work somehow turning into some of our favorite memories.

Someday, the cattle in these videos will be gone and we probably won’t remember every placing. But I have a feeling we’ll remember the laughter.

And I hope they remember that we did it together.

I have a sneaking suspicion the Metallika's only get better with age like fine w**e or, as this Wisconsinite likes to say, cheese! If her older sister has given us any indication, the Metallika's are going to be an extra special group.

Metallika’s first daughter juat got done winning the fall heifer division at World Beef Expo in both the Jr and Open shows. And if that is any indication what his daughters are going to accomplish in the show ring, it has Mackenzie and I pumped up! Dont miss an opportunity to get on the fandom on October 12th!
