Chicken of the Woods is back in stock today. If you would like some, stop by the Lake Geneva House of Music outdoor market to grab a box and listen to some great music, otherwise you can just send a message today to secure your box.

Good morning everyone. I hope your weekend is going great.
Couple things I wanted to get out, spring Wine cap season is quickly coming to an end, limited supply available for those until fall season. Also oysters are currently in full force, so get yourself a box or two while supplies last.
Now is also a great time to start pre-ordering chanterelles.

Why did the Chicken of the Woods cross the road? So you could eat it of course!
We now have limited quantities of Chicken of the Woods, as well as some golden oyster mushrooms.
Chicken of the Woods:
Small box - $11
Medium box ‐ $16
Large box - $30
Oysters:
Small box - $5
Medium box - $8
Large box - $12
These are wild mushrooms. Please make sure to always FULLY cook your mushrooms before consuming, and only try a small amount of things you have never had before.

Hey everyone, I know it is late, but I just wanted to give an update on how you can buy my mushrooms.
I will be having 3 different sizes containers, small, medium, and large. I will have updated prices for each mushroom type when I can evaluate how much will be in each container.
As always, availability is subject to season and having the items on hand. I will also be expanding the mushroom list so look out for more updates soon.

Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a great day. I just wanted to get on here and post prices for the year. Remember that everything is subject to availability so make sure to put your orders in early and often. I included the latin names so you can look up the specific types I sell.

Prices are for container size, small(5"x4.5"x2.75"), medium(7.25"x4.75"x3.3"), and large(7"x5.5"x5"). (Will update with prices as i get the mushrooms.
Mushrooms are seasonal and not all varieties are available year round. Inquire for availability.

Well... my results are in.

I passed! WITH 100% CORRECT!!!

I am officially Wisconsin state certified for wild mushroom identification of essential species.
This is just the first but biggest step on the trail ahead.

True or False? Bright colors (orange, red, blue, purple, etc) are an indicator of a toxic mushroom.

What a fun class to be a part of. Thanks WMS for putting together such a great identification class. I had so much fun learning a bit more about mushrooms and taking the certification test afterwards. Time really felt like it flew by.
Now to wait 2 weeks to find out if I passed or not, but I feel pretty confident that I did.
