Not mine but wanted to share. I love this idea!
They used a cork but I would plug the bottom with cement patch then seal the inside with cement sealer used for birdbaths.
***As you can see, the mouth of the water jug extends BELOW the water cup level - which makes this WORK according to the basic laws of physics which some ppl here may not know!! ❤️
For those concerned of contaminates, terracotta is made from clay not lead; has been used for thousands of years, non toxic, earth friendly, and like ALL other containers used for water / feed, should be cleaned on a regular basis!! ❤️🫶🏼
