Bumblefoot surgery was successful this weekend. I’m a youtube certified surgeon 🤣 The vet wanted over $200. Supplies cost me $15 to do it myself. Sometimes you just have to country girl your way though it. Our Zoey baby was so good for me. I think she looks great in her fancy wrap. Please excuse the 💩 she gets camera anxiety 😂

When the grow out pen gets their first major storm and it floods….. you have to perform a late night rescue mission. All birds are accounted for, have been dried and warmed up with the hair dryer. The hard thing with chicks 10 weeks and younger, they still like to sleep on the ground so you have to watch them close during heavy storms. Now it’s time for mom to go get dried off, warmed up and back to bed.
