Just a little reminder from the farm šŸ’œ

Our farm store and online shop are now closed until September 7. Weā€™re taking a few weeks for some much-needed family time and to get everyone settled back into the school routine. We truly appreciate your understanding and all the support you continue to show our little farm.

Weā€™ll reopen September 7 from 4ā€“6 PM, and weā€™ll share our new fall farm store hours when we return.

And on a completely different noteā€¦ look what happened in my little personal flower garden! šŸŒ»

My very first sunflower bloom finally opened, and I was already pretty excited about it. But when I looked over a little later, I realized I had a tiny visitor just chilling right on top. šŸøšŸŒ»

Iā€™m not sure who was happier about the first bloomā€”me or this little tree frog. šŸ˜‚

Sometimes it really is the simplest little things around the farm that make your day.

Our blended teas, artisan salts, and pancake mixes that sold out have all been restocked and are ready for you.

After we close today, weā€™re going to take a little family break. Both the farm store and our online shop will be closed until September 7 while we spend some time together and get settled back into the school routine. As a small family farm, sometimes we just have to slow down for a bit and make a little extra room for family. šŸ’œ

Weā€™ll reopen September 7 from 4ā€“6 PM and will share our new fall farm store hours that day. šŸ‚

Itā€™s a beautiful day to take a little drive to the farm! šŸ’œ

Weā€™ll be open today from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, and weā€™d love to see you if youā€™re out enjoying the afternoon.

Today, weā€™re featuring one of my personal favoritesā€”our Gardenerā€™s Basil Artisan Salt. Every bag is handcrafted in small batches using basil weā€™ve grown, harvested, and carefully dried right here on our family farm. Thereā€™s something so rewarding about taking herbs from the garden and creating something that can become part of your familyā€™s meals.

Itā€™s delicious on fresh tomatoes, pasta, roasted vegetables, potatoes, chicken, fish, eggs, or mixed into olive oil for dipping fresh bread. Itā€™s one of those simple pantry staples that makes everyday cooking just a little more special.

We also have our handcrafted herbal teas, our line of artisan salts, culinary lavender, what is left of our maple syrup, soaps, bug off spray and other farm favorites in the shop.

Some days, the best thing you can do is just stop for ten minutes and wrap your hands around a warm mug. Lately, our Lavender Lady blend has been the exact thing I reach for when I need to catch my breath.

We mix this one by hand right here at the farm. We take the culinary lavender we just harvested from our own rows and blend it into a really smooth Earl Grey black tea, tossing in a handful of vibrant blue cornflower petals. If you haven't tried this combination before, the bright citrus from the bergamot paired with the soft, earthy lavender and those beautiful pops of blue is just stunning to look at and drink. It feels like a little bit of comfort and a breath of fresh air all at the same time.

What I love most about it is the balance. You get that natural, quiet calm from the lavender, but the black tea gives you just enough of a gentle lift to keep you moving through your day without feeling rushed. It is the perfect companion for a quiet morning out on the porch before the chores start, a midday breather, or a peaceful way to wind down when the sun starts setting.
