This one hits close to home. The owners of Hasty’s Haven horse rescue are some very, very dear friends of mine, and it’s heartbreaking to see what they’re going through after their donkey, Angelique, was shot.

Y’all, please be smart when hunting. Always be aware of your surroundings, positively identify your target, and know what is beyond it before you ever pull the trigger. Be mindful of nearby homes, pastures, livestock, and people. If you aren’t absolutely sure you have a safe shot, let it pass. No deer is worth someone’s life or a beloved animal.

These folks pour their hearts into giving animals a safe place and a second chance. They deserve to feel safe on their own property, too.

The love and support we’ve seen this year from our friends and community has been incredible. My family and I are so thankful for each and every one of you who continues to support us and help make our dreams come true! We love y’all and truly appreciate you!

What a blessed day at Pea Creek Processing! 🙌🦌

We took in 105 deer today—a new shop record! We also set another record with 75 deer in one evening!

We can’t thank our awesome customers enough for trusting us with your deer, recommending us to others, and supporting our business. Every one of you has helped us get here, and we don’t take that for granted.

A big thank-you to our hardworking crew for keeping things moving through a busy day! We are truly blessed and grateful for everyone who makes Pea Creek Processing what it is. Thank y’all! ❤️
