Come on down to the Muhlenberg County Farmers Market this morning June 20th from 8-12. We have blackberry cobblers for sale. Also, some potted plants and flower baskets. Houseplants, succulents, herbs, hostas and ice plant perennials. Goat milk soap.

It’s been a Strawberry Sundae kind of day!

Today we installed a hydrangea hedge at a beautiful home. These hydrangeas are a variety called Strawberry Sundae which feature white panicle blooms that turn a strawberry color as the bloom ages. They are gorgeous plants and we can’t wait to see these mature to full size.

Additionally, we provided Kay Paris magnolia trees that are starting to look really good with their new leaves and big white blooms.

Beautiful weather for picking blackberries.
It’s our first crop for our recently planted thornless berry patch. We don’t have enough berries at the moment to sell them fresh but we will be selling homemade blackberry cobblers by the order for pickup at the farmers market on Saturday June 20th. The cobblers are $15 each.

Abbott Acres Greenhouse will be setup at the Muhlenberg County Farmers Market on Saturday June 13th starting at 8am. We will have a load of plants including succulents and houseplants, hanging baskets of flowers, veggie and herb plants and more. Also, goat milk soap.

Starting June 8th we will transition to shopping by appointment only at the farm. We still have a great selection of plants you can purchase. We take time in the summer to prepare for our fall flower crops and we tend to our vegetable gardens to provide our customers with fresh homegrown fruits and vegetables. As you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment on the farm. Be sure to give us a call or message us if you’d like to setup a time to shop the greenhouse. Here’s a few current snapshots of what we have growing in our shade house. Lots of succulents, ferns and houseplants.

Solid white blooms on the Diana Althea tree.
Beginning to bloom now and will continue all summer long. It’s so elegant! Only one left.
This is a cold hardy tree that comes back for years in your yard.
