What are those bright pink and red shrubs in front of everyone’s houses right now? The answer is AZALEA. They are gorgeous spring blooming shrubs that come in many colors, including pink, red, purple, white, and now orange and yellow. We currently have many of these colors instock at our greenhouse. Some are the popular Encore varieties which are known for reblooming in the fall. And we also have the orange blooming Mandarin Lights currently instock. These are so beautiful and are priced at $35 each.

Plant highlight: We currently have one of our favorite trees instock….. GINKGO 🌳.
We only have one because they are kinda hard to find. Ginkgo trees are so iconic. It’s been popular since the dinosaurs for its unique leaf shape and fall color. It will turn bright yellow in the fall. Our tree is currently about 5feet tall but can grow to over 50ft tall. Excellent shade tree for your yard.

We have purple fountain grass instock. It is one of the most beautiful ornamental grasses. The only down side to it is it’s not cold hardy so it will not come back. But you still cannot beat it for an amazing thriller in container gardens or landscaping. Low maintenance. Loves full sun!

Saturday April 19th we will be setup at the Muhlenberg County Farmers Market in Powderly, KY with a great selection of plants from our greenhouse. We will have flower baskets, ferns, Jew baskets, potted bedding plants, vegetable slips, succulents, houseplants and herbs. We will be selling from 8am-noon. We will also be open at the farm from 9am-3pm. Come see us for great quality plants. We hope you enjoy the Easter weekend with your friends and family celebrating the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a fun family activity, we invite you to attend a live reenactment of the Easter story at Second Baptist Church in Greenville at 6:30pm Saturday or 10am Sunday.

One of our favorite succulents is in bloom now. It’s called Purslane Portulaca. Some call it flat leaf rose moss. We offer it in 4” cups and mixed color hanging baskets. Colors available in pink, orange, yellow. It takes full sun the best. It is forgiving if it dries out but prefers to be watered regularly. Cups are $5. Baskets are $25
