Another fun day!!!! It took about 10 minutes to get all the chicks inside tonight. It will probably take a couple days for them to figure it out. Last time it was 1 night after installing the auto door in new area. Now with 11 of the big chicks with the chickens...the little ones didn't know where to go.

The younger chicks got their auto door this afternoon. David put them up...he had to give them a little coaxing...they weren't sure what it was. They were all standing by the big door wondering what happened.lol

While we were installing it they were all standing in the corner together. They also got a pool and a little bridge. I changed a few things in the yard so they were enjoying all that!!!

The big chickens got a new pool and a swing!!!

Things are coming together! We believe in keeping our chickens safe. The area they will have is going to be huge. This is what they're starting out with. I worked all day at it. The chicken wire it the tedious part of it....and it tends to get you a lot.lol.

They will be learning how to put themselves up for the night as soon as David gets the door installed. David helped me put them up tonight. No matter what I always check on them to make sure everyone is up for the night.

And I got my egg stamper yesterday. So excited about that. I haven't tried it yet!

I built an area inside the chicken coop so that my bigger chicks could be in there because when I first got them they were so little. I had them in the house for a few days, probably about a week. Then I put them outside in our huge kennel area in a couple of tubs. And then they moved out into the area. I built them in the chicken coop. Today they're outside for the day!!! I carried 27 chicks outside! Yeah I get my coffee a little bit late because they do come first! The area is a little bit too small for all them... They're going to get that whole back end once we're completed. Once they get big enough. All of my chickens can go wherever they want in those yards. I'm also putting up another chicken run so can't wait till all the work is done so I can just enjoy them!!!
