We had been happy to be a burdock-free farm, but some burs hitchhiked in with our Icelandic ewes this February. The burs can ruin wool and be a fiber artists’ worst nightmare, but we think we caught it in time. And when life gives you burdock:: make medicine! This root is a great liver & lymph ally in the spring, so we’ll be drying it for future teas.
