Horses for Heroes of Northern Minnesota is proud to provide veterans and their families Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning in a supportive and therapeutic environment free of charge. The focus is to help our soldiers rehabilitate and reintegrate with their families during and after their time of service. We also offer services for those with physical and emotional disabilities associated from their military service. Equine experiential learning has proven to be effective in treating a variety of physical and mental health needs including, but not limited too: behavioral health issues including PTSD, substance abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, anger management and relationship problems. Please feel free to inquire with any questions about our program, or if you would like to help in any way through volunteering or a tax free donation
