BFT Ranch We are a NE Texas ranch producing pastured, AGA certified grass fed red angus cattle. We are a family owned and operated multi use ranch in NE Texas.

Our main focus are the fabulous Red Angus cattle we raise. We have both Commercial and Registered animals (commercial meaning raised for beef and registered for producing show cattle, 4-H projects and continual breed improvement) They are born, raised and live as part of our family on our natural pastures. We also spend time with our pastured chickens (meat and egg layers), goats (milk) and a few

other random barnyard animals. Our goals and future projects include: furthering relationships for local distribution and remaining responsible stewards of the land and animals under our care, sharing knowledge about our practices and forgotten homesteading lifestyle.

Rotational grazing= salad bar beef! The steers were moooved to the next pasture and their first choice was vetch! Nothing is a w**d if the cattle will eat it. And, just like humans, variety is the spice of life!

Another fabulous day (and perfect weather) spent at The Mattox Prairie Farm!!! Texas grazing lands coalition, TPWD, NRCS, (I'm forgetting somebody Mindy, Heidi, Ryan!...) if y'all want to improve your soil- these folks know!!! Area producers strolled the Mattox stomping grounds, discussions ranged from, "what's a w**d" to virtual fencing! Can't wait to visit with these likeminded regenerative ag folks again!
